Work is continuing on the new Costco at Lynnwood Place. The opening is scheduled for September.

The new Lynnwood Costco at Lynnwood Place is now slated for an October opening.

City of Lynnwood Manager of Communications & Public Affairs Julie Moore told Lynnwood Today that she has been in contact with Costco, which has told her the opening of the new Costco is scheduled for Oct. 1.

Previously, Costco had indicated on its website that the 150,000-square-foot new store, located at 3001 184th Street SW, would be open in August.

The leasing agent for Lynnwood Place also has announced plans for a new Dave & Buster’s in Phase II of the project. Dave & Buster’s is a national restaurant and arcade gaming/entertainment chain.

  1. The question that should be asked is, “Why is Costco postponing the opening?” Their buildings go up very quickly and the season for construction (weather) has been very, very favorable…so why the wait?

  2. I’m surprised that Costco is putting up all these new stores and wal mart hasn’t added any new Sam’s club. They only have one in North Seattle .
