Nia Teachers and Students Dance & Donate for Oso in Lynnwood on Saturday, March 29

Sarah Love, certified Nia instructor, is dedicating her regular 9:30-10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 29 Nia class at the Verve Ballroom  in Lynnwood to the Mudslide Relief for those affected by the landslide in Oso.

A minimum donation of $15 is requested. Please make checks out to United Way of Snohomish County. The Verve Ballroom is located at 19820 40th Ave W. #102.

Other Nia teachers in Seattle, Redmond and Sammamish are also using their classes to raise funds for the Oso relief efforts. These include:

• Randee Fox, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.,March 28 , from 9:30-10:40 a.m., March 29 and  from 10-12 p.m., March 30 at Blue Heron Studio in Sammamish

• Jena Hennessey, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.,March 28 at the Dance Space in Seattle

• Pauline Osborne, from 9-10:30 a.m., March 29at the DanceWorks Studio in Redmond

  1. yes love and healing in numbers! We had a rockin’ class at Jena’s Dance Space on Friday at 6:30 p.m….coming together in love to dance our hearts! I LOVE THE POWER OF NIA!! Rock on Washington, we can do this!!
