Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office continue to track down leads in a series of mobile home burglaries north of Lynnwood.
At least 25 mobile home units have been burglarized in mobile home park complexes, including Carriage Club Estates, Lynnwood Heights, Wandering Creek, Lago de Plata Villa and Mariner Village. In most cases, the burglar entered the residence at night through a window, often unscrewing porch lights or interior lamp bulbs. Items stolen include jewelry, cash and electronics.
Police are still looking for a person of interest, described as 6-foot-tall man, weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen at the 16800 block of Highway 99 about 3 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, wearing a black or dark blue hoodie with orange writing and grey sweats.
Anyone with information about the identity of this man is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
In the meantime, officers have been working with residents on securing their homes.
