Still no agreement has been reached between Waste Management and its garbage haulers, but both sides agreed early this morning to continue talks later this afternoon.

“We are happy that talks are continuing and look forward to participating in a full day of bargaining focused on a deal,” said Jackie Lang, spokesperson for Waste Management.

Drivers for Allied Waste agreed to a tentative contract late yesterday.
