Know an outstanding young person? Lynnwood Rotary is once again sponsoring the Youth Challenge Awards, which recognize exceptional youth in Snohomish County. All nominated students are recognized at an event on Thursday, May 7 beginning at 7 p.m., at Lynnwood High School. The $200 cash award recipients will be announced in the various nomination categories and also receive a plaque.
All of the nominations for these awards are submitted from the community. The nomination deadline is April 10. Here is a link to the nomination form and here are the award categories.
Nominees must be in grades 7-12 and either live or attend school (public, private, alternative or home school) in Snohomish County. The achievement must be completed or ongoing in the year prior to March 27, 2015. Academic and athletic achievement are not requirements to be eligible to win any of these awards.
