Can you open your home to a college soccer player for two months?
The North Sound SeaWolves – the South Snohomish-based premier development league soccer team — is seeking host families for two college soccer players from out of the area who are looking for place to stay during the team’s two-month season, May 18-July 17.
“These are college student-athletes that will be members of the SeaWolves team,” said SeaWolves head coach Ed Moore. “Teammates can help with transportation, but these players’ biggest need is a bed to sleep in. These are players that are already living on there own in college, so they are not high maintenance.” In addition to the games, players will be training three times on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, Moore said.
Providing lodging allows the team to be able to attract top-level out-of-state talent, Moore explained, adding that one of the young men plays at Valparaiso University in Indiana, while another attends Oral Roberts in Oklahoma.
If you are willing to provide room and board for a player, or need additional information, call Moore at 601-291-4274
