The Northwest Veterans Museum in Lynnwood will be hosting a four-day open house Saturday-Tuesday, May 4-7. to celebrate its second anniversary.
The hours will be Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is always free.
There will be complimentary refreshments and expanded exhibits on World War II, Korea and Vietnam, plus displays on the Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. In addition, there will be oil paintings of soldiers in the Civil War, World War I and II and Korea that were painted by a Vietnam veteran. Vietnam veteran John Chapman will be the guest speaker both Saturday and Sunday.
The Northwest Veterans Museum is located inside the Wickers Building at 19921 Poplar Way in Heritage Park, Lynnwood
