Nov. 4 general election ballots are in the mail

VOTEHere’s a reminder that the Nov. 4, 2014 General Election is a countywide election for all eligible voters. Ballots were mailed Oct. 16. Voters’ pamphlets have also been mailed, one per household.

Voters who have not received their ballot by Wednesday, Oct. 22 should contact the Snohomish County  elections division at 425-388-3444.

Return your ballot through a ballot drop box or through the mail. There is a ballot drop box located just outside the downtown Edmonds Library on Main Street. If mailing, use a stamp and make sure your ballot will be postmarked or cancelled by Election Day, Nov. 4.

It’s not too late to register and vote in the Nov.  4 General Election. You may register in person at the county auditor’s office through Monday, Oct. 27. Visit www.myvote.wa.gov to verify your voter registration.

Preliminary results are posted election night shortly after 8 p.m. Results are updated daily at 5 p.m. through Nov. 25 on days when ballots are counted. The General Election is certified Nov. 25 at 1 p.m.
