Lynnwood Police K-9 handler Officer Cole Langdon is being honored this week on Q-13’s Washington’s Most Wanted as its Officer of the Month for June.
The show is recognizing Officer Langdon “for his amazing work ethic and his outstanding dedication to providing a safe environment for the citizens of the City of Lynnwood.”
Recently, Langdon was also voted by his peers as the 2009 Lynnwood Officer of the Year, and was the recipient of the 2009 Chief’s Award. That’s not all. Langdon was also named a “Top Cop” by the Washington State Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Along with being a K-9 handler and an acting sergeant, Officer Langdon is also a master K-9 trainer. He has trained and certified five other K-9 teams including teams from Everett and Redmond police departments. He started his career as a police cadet in 1996 as has been with Lynnwood ever since.
You can watch Langdon receive this latest award on Washington’s Most Wanted at 10:30 p.m. on Q-13 FOX this Friday and Saturday, and also on channel 10 at 9:30 p.m. on Friday.
