Oxy Gene helps promote Bike to Work Day

Community Transit’s Oxy Gene, defender of truth, justice and really clean air, made an appearance Friday morning at the Lynnwood Transit Center to help promote Bike to Work Day. More than 100 cyclists stopped by a special Commuter Station where they could fuel up with snacks and drinks, get free souvenirs, enter drawings for prizes and have a bike mechanic look over their bike. The numbers were significantly up, as last year 65 riders participated in the event. May is Bike to Work Month.
