June is National Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat month and PAWS is waiving adoption fees for its adult bonded pairs and senior cats, seven years and older.
In the spring and summer months, animal shelters and rescue organizations around the country are inundated with thousands of newborn kittens. But adult cats still need loving homes too.
The Adopt-A-Cat Month Adoption Special runs June 8 – 23, so be sure to come in and find the perfect feline companion. You’ll be a giving a deserving pet a place to call home, and the adoption fee is free.
If you aren’t able to adopt right now, here are some other ways you can help:
1. Make wishes come true. PAWS has a Wish List of items we need for the animals, such as chew toys, jars of peanut butter, and other supplies. Donate an item from its list.
2. Donate your time. If you can’t adopt a pet right now, become a volunteer.
3. Sign up to be a foster parent. Through foster care, you provide young, injured or sick animals a chance to grow and heal before we find them a forever home.
