Pacific Chamber Ballet, a Lynnwood dance studio that’s on the verge of closure, is hosting a fund raising benefit tonight. It will start at 8 p.m. at 6925 – 216th Street SW.
Tonight’s soiree will feature members of Seattle Dance Project, Sony Masterworks & Steinway Artist Andrew T. Miller (pianist/composer), trumpet player Rudy Harper and dancer Lauren Matthew. Wine and desserts will be served, and mini-performances by PCB students and local music and dance professionals will take place throughout the evening.
Tickets are $15 or two for $25 and will be available at the door.
Pacific Chamber Ballet has operated since 1983 but is facing closure due to declining enrollment. Donations have kept it open through October, but more funds are needed for the long term.
