Man stabbed near Picnic Point

A 41-year-old Edmonds man was treated at Harborview after being stabbed early Monday morning in the Picnic Point area just north of Lynnwood.

Sheriff’s deputies received a 911 call around 5:30 a.m. reporting a stabbing in the 15600 block of Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. As deputies were responding they received another report of a possible stabbing at the Silverwood apartments in the 4100 block of 156th Street Southwest, not far from Highway 99 location.

When deputies arrived at the first location they found the victim in a parking lot of a business. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment for stab wounds to his torso. The Sheriff’s Office says the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have reportedly identified a suspect.
