Police apprehend suspect who allegedly pointed gun at passing vehicles on 44th Avenue W. and I-5

Lynnwood Police and Washington State Patrol responded to the I-5 on-ramp area on 44th Avenue W. in Lynnwood just after 2 p.m. today (Friday, May 24) after multiple calls from drivers to 911 stating they saw a man pointing what they thought was a gun at passing vehicles.

Police found and apprehended the man quickly under the freeway area on 44th Avenue W.

The 29 year-old man is currently in the Lynnwood Jail being investigated for unlawful display of a weapon. Police are still investigating.
