Neighbors emailed us earlier this week about a large police presence Saturday night on 36th between 164th and 148th.

Rebecca Hover from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office tells us deputies were hunting for a hit-and-run driver. The call came in at 11:16 p.m. to the 3300 block of 164th. A male driver ran off after hitting another car.  Officers called in the K9 unit and the suspect was eventually located and arrested.

The extent of the victim’s injuries are not known but Hover does not believe they are critical.
