The following incidents were taken from reports filed by Lynnwood police officers. Not all arrests or reports are listed.
Burglary
April 27: A break-in was reported at the Edmonds School District’s bus yard on Alderwood Mall Blvd.
April 29: Two televisions, a camera and a computer were taken from a home in the 20500 block of 68th Avenue West.
May 1: A business was burglarized at 5116 196th Street SW. Police believe the suspect has mental problems and he was not charged.
Shoplifting/Theft
April 27: Two winches were stolen from 4 Wheel Parts on Alderwood Mall Parkway.
April 28: A man was arrested for shoplifting at the Alderwood Mall REI.
April 28: A woman was arrested for stealing “multiple beauty items” from Ulta on Alderwood Mall Parkway.
April 28: Multiple plants were reported stolen from a residence in the 36oo block of 177th Place West.
April 29: A man was arrested for stealing $208 worth of cologne from Target.
April 30: Theft of cash and alcohol from a business at 17525 Highway 99.
April 30: A female was arrested for shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia at Journeys Shoes on 184th Street SW.
Vehicle prowls
April 27: A computer, computer bag, textbook and two thumb drives were stolen from a vehicle in the 4600 block of 196th Street SW.
April 27: A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle in the 16800 block of 48th Avenue West.
April 27: A wallet (with credit cards and cash) and an iPod were stolen from a vehicle in the 7200 block of 194th Place SW.
April 30: Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 19200 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway.
May 1: Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 19300 block of 44th Avenue West.
May 2: Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 3700 block of 167th Place SW. Some shoes also were stolen from the front porch.
May 3: A battery was stolen from a vehicle in the 16500 block of Highway 99.
Fraud
April 27: A woman was arrested for trying to pass a fraudulent prescription for narcotic painkillers at the Walgreens at 207th Street SW and Highway 99.
April 30: A woman was reported for possible fraud at Car Craft on 196th Street SW.
April 30: A woman was arrested for fraud at Bank of America on 196th Street SW.
Alcohol related
April 26: A 52-year-old man was arrested for unlawful possession of liquor in the 18000 block of Highway 99.
April 25: A driver was arrested for DUI in the 3600 block of 196th Street SW. The arresting officer said the driver claimed he “drank too much Hennessey.”
May 2: An intoxicated driver hit a man’s car, who happened to be driving on a suspended license. Both drivers were arrested in the 3600 block of 164th Street SW.
Vehicles into buildings
April 29: A tractor trailer hit into a building at 6812 196th Street SW.
May 3: A 2008 Hyundai hit a building at 19820 48th Avenue West.
May 3: A 2002 Dodge hit a building at 18219 52nd Avenue W.
