Police need help identifying man who robbed Subway last weekend

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Subway restaurant at 169th Street SW and Highway 99 last weekend.

The robber entered the store during the busy lunch hour on Sunday, Oct. 21, and ordered a sandwich. He then told the clerk that he was armed and demanded money.

After he left with cash and the sandwich, employees called 911. A police dog was unable to track him down.

Customers were in the store at the time of the robbery, but police say no one noticed a robbery was in progress.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, about 5’ 8” with a medium build. He was wearing large-framed sunglasses, and a bright orange beanie under his dark-colored hoodie and jeans.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Detective Jorgensen at 425-670-5632.
