Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect from a robbery that occurred just after 8 a.m. Friday, March 1, at the Walgreen’s Pharmacy in the 20700 block of Highway 99 in Lynnwood.
No one was hurt after the suspect came into the pharmacy and demanded the pharmacist give him a controlled substance medication. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of the drug.
The suspect is described as a white male about 5-10, weighing about 185 pounds, wearing a baseball cap and a black sweatshirt, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
A similar robbery occurred Wednesday night at a Rite Aid pharmacy on Highway 99 in Edmonds, and Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Mark Marsh said there may be a connection between the two.
Anyone with information on the Lynnwood robbery should contact Detective Jorgensen at 425-670-5632.
