Lynnwood Police peacefully ended a standoff with a suicidal man Wednesday afternoon.

Several officers in marked and unmarked cars responded to the home in the 4400 block of 211th Street SW.

Many details weren’t immediately available. We don’t yet know if the man was armed or making threats, but at least one officer was seen with an automatic weapon. The subject was taken into custody and the standoff ended without further incident. The scene was clearing by 6 p.m.
