The pools and locker rooms at the new Rec Center will be closed from Sept. 5 (Labor Day) through Sept. 13 for maintenance and repairs.
Aquatic Supervisor Bill Haugen told us during the closure they will be addressing a locker room floor drainage issue, in addition to re-piping some of the pool components to allow for more efficient maintenance.
The weight room, racquetball courts and fitness spaces will be open as usual during the work. Customers can still register for all classes at the front desk.
The Rec Center will be fully operational Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 5:30 a.m.
