Two vigils — one in Edmonds and one in Everett — are scheduled Thursday, Nov. 1 in the wake of Oct. 27 shooting in Pittsburgh, when a gunman killed 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue.
In Edmonds, the Edmonds Lutheran Church is holding a non-partisan, interfaith prayer vigil for Pittsburgh and the nation from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1. According to a church, the vigil is aimed at fostering silent, community prayer in the wake of the Oct. 27 tragedy, when a gunman killed 11 people at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
Edmonds Lutheran Church is located at 23525 84th Ave. W., just off Highway 99 in Edmonds.
The Nov. 1 Everett event will be at 6 p.m. at the Snohomish County Campus, in Public Meeting Rooms 1 and 2, 1st floor of the Drewel Building, on the east side of the County Campus, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
