Elliott Reece and Garrett Walsh combined to throw a three-hitter to lead Meadowdale to a 9-0 victory over Shorecrest in a Wesco 3A South baseball game Friday at Meadowdale High School.
The Mavericks scored two runs in the first inning and then put the game away with seven runs in the fifth. Walsh hit a home run, while Phil Thomas, Parker Coffey and Justin Ridley each had doubles for Meadowdale (5-1 in the league 7-2 overall). Shorecrest fell to 0-8 and 1-10.
