The Lynnwood Transportation Benefit District Board is seeking people to serve as Pro (in support), or Con (against), Committee members for the Nov. 4 general election measure that is asking the voters if they should approve or reject a two-tenths of one percent (0.2) sales and use tax increase to fund various transportation improvements within Lynnwood.
The Pro and Con Committees are responsible for preparing arguments for and against the measure in addition to preparing rebuttal statements. Each committee is allowed up to three members, but can ask the advice of any number of individuals. The names of the Committee members will appear in the local voters’ pamphlet in conjunction with the ballot measure submitted.
If interested in serving as a Pro or Con Committee member please contact David Mach, Project Manager, at 425-670-5275 or dmach@ci.lynnwood.wa.us on or before July 29. Committee members will be appointed by the Board.
