Privacy experts say one of the best way to prevent ID theft is to shred financial and other sensitive documents. You can do that for free this weekend.
A community shred event will be held at Mountain Pacific Bank at 196th Street SW & Highway 99 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24. Each person can bring up to 50 pounds of paper to shred.
