Register now for Lynnwood University Online

The City of Lynnwood is now accepting registrations for Lynnwood University Online.

Lynnwood University is an 8-week course offered to residents free of charge. The goal of Lynnwood University is to increase awareness about how your local government works and to empower you to better access City programs and services.

For the past twelve years, the City has hosted Lynnwood University in a classroom setting, but for the first time this year, it will be offered online.

Each week, the City will email you a link to an online video that includes lectures, demonstrations and tours. Participants are welcome to watch at their own pace, from the comfort of your home!

Virtual Class Activities Include:

  • Presentations from Mayor Smith and the members of the City Council
  • A tour of Fire Station 15 and demonstrations on how to safely extinguish a grease fire and use a fire extinguisher
  • An overview of the Lynnwood Police Department and in-depth review of how forensics are gathered
  • A tour of our Traffic Management Center and a closer look at how Public Works plays a key role in keeping our City running smoothly
  • Info on City Center and other exciting development coming soon
