Participants should register by Feb. 3 at www.edcc.edu/STEM.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about STEM and campus resources,
- Explore the benefits of choosing a community college, and
- Explore STEM facilities, equipment, and opportunities.
There will also be a Q&A with a student panel, demonstrations, exploration of campus resource booths, and refreshments.
In the past 10 years, STEM jobs have grown three times faster than non-STEM jobs. Edmonds Community College is providing more opportunities for STEM students. The college has received 19 National Science Foundation grants, and three latest grants of more than $1.5 million over five years mean more support services and scholarships for students in STEM fields.
