Registration opens Friday for summer recreation programs

Screenshot (412).pngRegistration begins Friday for summer programs at the Lynnwood Recreation Center, including swimming lessons, summer camps and outdoor recreation.

Registration is also open for two Lynnwood summer camps.

Kamp Kookamunga is open to first graders through seventh graders. Campers will sing silly songs, swim in a lake or pool and create arts and crafts, among other summer activities. The camp runs from June 27 through Sept. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It costs $150 per week and is located at Lynndale Park. To register, click here.

Teen Adventure Camp Outdoors, or TACO summer camp, is also open for registration. Teens from seventh through tenth grade take trips to exciting destinations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between June 28 and Sept. 1.  It costs $145 per week. They leave Lynndale Park at 8 a.m. and return at 5 p.m. each day.
