Lynnwood residents wishing to recycle their Christmas tree have the option of pickup or drop-off service from local Boy Scout troops. Local Boy Scout troops offer curbside pickup and drop off locations through a program called Operation Dry Needles.
Here are the schedules:
Troop 49 offers pickup and drop-off service on Saturday, Jan. 3 and Sunday, Jan. 3. Please have your tree on the curb for pickup by 8 a.m.. Drop-off site open from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Alderwood Manor Youth Center, 19719 24th Ave. W, Lynnwood. Please remove all decorations and tinsel. Flocked trees cannot be accepted. Troop 312 offers two drop-off sites available from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3 and Sunday, Jan. 4. Drop-off site locations are: QFC 196th St SW & 76th Ave W, Lynnwood and PCC Natural Markets 9803 Edmonds Way, Edmonds. Donations are accepted. For more information call Bob at 206-730-4794.
