Reminder: Lynnwood Fire Department teaming up with Alderwood Mall to offer hands-only CPR training on Saturday

cprThe Lynnwood Fire Department is teaming up with Alderwood Mall to demonstrate that everyone is equipped with life saving devices and anyone can help save a life with hands-only CPR.

On Saturday, March 21 between 2-6 p.m. at the Alderwood Mall Food Court, Fire Department staff and Edmonds Community College ESL student volunteers will be teaching hands-only CPR in 10 different languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean. This event is free and all ages are welcome to participate. Check out the Lynnwood Fire YouTube page for a preview.

The Lynnwood Fire Department would like to remind everyone that effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival.
