An Open House on the City Center Streetscape Plan will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Feb, 13 in the Lynnwood City Hall Council Chambers.

On November 25, 2013, the city authorized a consultant contract with KPG, Inc. to complete the City Center Streetscape Plan. The completion and implementation of this plan will create a more livable environment and support redevelopment objectives of the City Center Sub-Area Plan.

The City Center Sub-Area Plan recommends that streetscape standards be established. The design elements of the streetscape are needed to provide private and public development standards, consistency along the public connections and create a sense of place for the growing downtown. The streetscape standards will establish an enhanced environment for the City Center including sidewalk paving, lighting, street trees and grates, street furnishings and other amenities.
