my newsSponge, a children’s language school, invites families with children aged birth-6 to a free celebration of the summer solstice from noon-2 p.m., Saturday, June 21 at Playdate Café in Lynnwood .

Cultures around the world mark this first day of summer with bonfires, feasting and celebrations. At this event to welcome summer, families will be dazzled by a lively exhibition of Latin ballroom dances, performed by students of The Verve Ballroom.
