Here’s a chance to speak to one of your lawmakers from the comfort of your own home.
State Rep. Mary Helen Roberts will host a telephone town hall on Wednesday, June 22 at 6 p.m.
Households in the 21st Legislative District will automatically receive a phone call. Those who pick up will be invited to participate in the one-hour conference call during which they can learn about the recent legislative session and share their thoughts and questions with Roberts.
Only homes with land lines will receive a call. If you want to participate via cell phone, call 1-877-229-8493 and enter code 15487 ten minutes before the 6 p.m. start time.
Roberts says she’s been receiving hundreds of questions about what happened this session. She says the telephone town hall is one of the easiest ways she’s found to speak with constituents.
Real first and last names — as well as city of residence — are required for all commenters.
