Royals sports roundup: Baseball, softball, golf results

Both the Lynnwood Royals’ baseball and softball squads suffered losses in Wesco League contests on Wednesday.

The Royals’ baseball team couldn’t keep up the the Shorewood Thunderbirds, falling 6-2 at Meridian Field in Shoreline. The Royals’ softball squad was shutout 4-0 by the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors at Edmonds-Woodway High School.

The Lynnwood boys’ golf team was defeated by the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors 159-221 in a dual held at the Lynnwood Golf Course.
