Sound Transit will be holding a Public Hearing/Open House about its plans for an Operations & Maintenance Satellite Facility from 5-7:30 p.m., June 3 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
At the open house, project staff will be available to answer questions about the OMSF project, site alternatives, and discuss the information in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). Members of the public will also have an opportunity to provide public comment during the public hearing, and to talk to Sound Transit Real Property staff about potential impacts to property.
Four alternatives are to be evaluated in the DEIS for the future location of the Link Operations & Maintenence Satellite Facility.
Alternative 1: Lynnwood/BNSF Storage Tracks – located north of I-5 and east of 52nd Avenue West/Cedar Valley Road in Lynnwood with storage tracks and an operator facility in the former Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad corridor in Bellevue. Detailed site map
Alternative 2: BNSF – located south of SR 520 and north of Northeast 12th Street on the east side of the former BNSF railway corridor in Bellevue. Detailed site map
