The city and the YWCA invite the community to participate in the annual Stand Against Racism event at 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 25 at Veterans Park in Lynnwood.

The annual event brings together hundreds of thousands of people across the nation, from all walks of life, to call attention to the legacy of discrimination and raise awareness that racism still exists. The Stand Against Racism event is a national movement of the YWCA.

Last year’s event included a number of speakers from the community, musical performances and organizations offering resource material.
