Seattle Times delivery van stolen in Lynnwood

A thief who stole a Seattle Times delivery van in Lynnwood led police on a high-speed chase that ended with a crash in Seattle.

The van was stolen from the driver near 136th Street SW and Highway 99 about 2 a.m. Police chased the van down I-405, Highway 520 and I-5 to Seattle, then onto the West Seattle Bridge and Alaskan Way Viaduct. Shortly after police called off the chase, the van crashed into a car in south Seattle.

The suspect was taken to Harborview Medical Center. Two people in the car were not hurt, nor was the delivery driver.

  1. That's what they get for outsourcing their customer service department! I'm tired of calling and talking to someone in the Phillipines who sends me out another paper just because one Ulta ad was missing. Then I have to double recycle!
