Second person assaulted in Edmonds CC restroom

UPDATE: Police says it appears the latest incident at Alderwood Hall is unrelated to a stabbing in the same restroom on May 31.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man, who is also a student at the college, after he hit a 40-year-old Community Transit driver. He was not injured. It happened after the pair had some sort of argument.

The student was booked for misdemeanor assault and minor exhibiting the affects of alcohol.

A Community Transit bus driver was assaulted this morning in a restroom at Edmonds Community College. It’s the same restroom at Alderwood Hall where a student was robbed and stabbed last month.

It happened about 10:30 a.m. The driver says he was hit over the back of the head. Police describe it as a “minor scuffle.” He did not require immediate medical assistance.
