Sister of Lynnwood man held in North Korea accepts Rodman apology

The sister of a man imprisoned in North Korea welcomed an apology from Dennis Rodman after his comments suggesting the man may have deserved his arrest.

Rodman traveled to North Korea to celebrate the birthday of leader Kim Jong Un.

Our news partner, the Seattle Times, reports that Terri Chung of Edmonds said Thursday it was good to see Rodman recognize the gravity and urgency of Kenneth Bae’s plight. She says, “It’s nothing he can make light or play games with.”
