The Skandia Folkdance Society hosts its first Friday Dance from 7:30-11 p.m., March 1 at the Cedar Valley Grange.
Ung och Yngre “Young and Younger” (Liz Gabay on fiddle and viola, Carol Olson on fiddle, Martha Levenson on fiddle and octave fiddle, and Sophia Kenzelberger on fiddle and octave fiddle) is the featured group for the evening. Lycka till “Good luck” (Gina Boyd, Bill Boyd, Bev Anderson, Irene Myers, Don Meyers and Kathi Ploeger) will sing a cheerful set in the middle of the program. Don’t forget to come for dance instruction from 7:30-8:30 p.m.. Milt and Bev Anderson will be teaching Tyringe Hambo.
Admission is $10 (Skandia members, $7); kids are free.
