Nicola Smith continues fundraising lead in Lynnwood Mayoral race

MyNNNNicola Smith continues her fundraising lead in the race for Mayor of Lynnwood.

Smith, Edmonds Community College’s Dean of Student Life and Development, has raised $22,046 and spent $12,536, according to the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission. Incumbent Mayor Don Gough reports $17,451 raised and $16,014 spent.

Incumbent City Councilmember M. Christopher Boyer has raised $1,970 and spent $742 in the race for Position No. 1.

In the race for City Council Position No. 2, former City Councilmember Jim Smith has raised $1,500 and spent $1,341.

Real Estate Brokerage Manager Douglass Lovitt has raised $4,593 and reports no expenditures in the race for City Council Position No. 3 as of Oct. 12. The Affordable Housing Council has contributed $1,800 and the Snohomish County Camano Association of Realtors has contributed $1,400. Lovitt’s opponent, former City Councilmember Ruth Ross reports contributions of $219 and has spent $19.
