Snohomish County PUD dedicated its new Lynnwood office on Monday. It will serve all of the utility’s customers in south County starting April 4.

City employees, PUD employees, a staff member for county councilwoman Stephanie Wright and other members of the community attended Monday’s ribbon cutting and tree planting ceremony.

“We look forward to serving Lynnwood, Edmonds and all of south county from our new facility,” commissioner Toni Olson said.

The new building, located at 21014 63rd Avenue West in Lynnwood, will replace the current office in Edmonds on Highway 99 and the Halls Lake service facility in Lynnwood.

The Edmonds office opened in 1968. The Halls Lake service facility is nearly 60 years old.
