Snohomish County PUD is rolling out a free, limited-time opportunity for small businesses in Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace to save energy and lower their PUD bill.
Over the next several weeks, Willdan Energy Solutions – the PUD’s contractor for this project – will visit businesses to offer a free energy assessment and installation of simple energy-saving measures at no cost. These measures include efficient screw-in lighting, faucet aerators, pre-rinse spray valves and LED “Open” signs.
“This program allows us to build on our community’s sustainability efforts and help small businesses,” said David Kleitsch, Economic Development Director for Lynnwood. “It helps businesses save on energy costs, raises awareness of conservation in our communities and provides additional jobs in the region.”
This opportunity will be offered only for a limited time, so small businesses shouldn’t wait to take advantage of it. Businesses can contact Willdan at 855-860-2661 or visit www.snopud.com/willdan for more information.
