Sound Storage of Lynnwood is having its grand opening from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 16.

This free community event features wine, beverages and food. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 5:30PM and there will be a storage unit treasure hunt with prizes. Sound Storage is located at at 16429 20th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.

Sound Storage of Lynnwood offers storage for items such as bikes, recreational equipment, legal documents, home furnishings, antiques, tools, patio furniture and small business needs. Customers began moving into storage units in late January. The environmentally friendly, solar powered storage facility is 53,750 square feet and has 593 heated and outside access storage units to protect valuable possessions from the damp northwest weather with sizes from 25 to over 300 square feet.

Inside the office there is a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies; a rental truck also is available.

Managed by West Coast Self-Storage, customer service hours are 9:30  a.m.-6 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. Customers have access 365 days a year, via keypad, from 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.

The facility utilizes a high tech security system with cameras positioned along exterior parking and halls in the building; these cameras are highly advanced and provide unsurpassed security. The building offers two large covered bays to assure customers and their items are protected from rain when loading and unloading.
