MAP_Lynnwood-Link_402x663The public is invited to provide feedback to Sound Transit on the three proposed track alignment and station locations for the Lynnwood Link Extension during a Sept. 14 community meeting at the Lynnwood City Council Chambers.

The meeting will be from 10-11:45 a.m. in the chambers, located at 19100 44th Ave. W.

Sound Transit has proposed three track alignments and station locations for the Lynnwood Link Extension. Each alignment option has different benefits and impacts. The community is invited to discuss the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. Comments and feedback during this meeting will assist the City Council in preparing a resolution that will be submitted to Sound Transit on behalf of the city of Lynnwood.

The 60-day extended comment period ends Sept.23. Sound Transit and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) have published the Lynnwood Link Extension Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for public, agency and tribal review and comment. The DEIS evaluates light rail route and station alternatives and describes the project’s potential effects on the environment, nearby properties and transportation, as well as other impacts.

To download the DEIS or to learn more, please visit Sound Transit’s project page.
