Our news partners at the Seattle Times have a story about some glitches with the photo-radar speed cameras. While the problems were limited to Seattle, it’s worth noting that it’s the same company that Lynnwood uses for its red light and school zone cameras — American Traffic Solutions of Arizona.
The city of Seattle’s new photo-radar program ran into a little glitch earlier this month, when 260 people received notice that they were photographed speeding in a school zone — only they weren’t anywhere near a school.
“A miswording,” said Janet Dewey-Kollen, of American Traffic Solutions, the company that manages the new program.
