With almost two months before Halloween, a huge costume store is getting ready to open.
Spirit Halloween is setting up shop in the former G.I. Joe’s store near 196th and Highway 99. It’s slated to open Wednesday, Sept. 8.
New costumes for 2010 include Lady Gaga, characters from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and Avatar, BP Bad Planning Guy (complete with oil stains), and a Beer Pong Cup.
By the way, Halloween falls on a Sunday this year.
Well, today was supposed to be the day it opened… but there's a nice big red STOP WORK ORDER slapped on the front door, courtesy of Lynnwood Code Enforcement. Apparently they didn't bother getting a permit from the city.
See what happens when you don't pay the city its protection money? *lol*
