Time to clean out the clutter in your house.

Lynnwood’s annual spring cleanup begins today. All this week, residents within the city limits can put three extra garbage cans or bags curbside on their regular trash collection day. You also can put out three extra bags of yard waste. Check the city’s website for specific restrictions.

On Thursday, May 6, recyclers will pick-up major appliances such as old refrigerators or dishwashers. You have to buy a prepaid sticker at City Hall to have those large appliances picked up.

Because of budget cutbacks, Saturday’s drop-off event has been canceled.
