Slick roads cause major I-5 accident Posted: December 16, 2013 976 Wet conditions may have contributed to a one-vehicle accident on southbound I-5 beneath the 236th Street Southwest overpass just before 7 p.m. on Sunday. One person was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital; the extent of their injuries was unknown. Crews from the Washington State Patrol, Snohomish County Fire District 1, the Shoreline Fire Department and the Lynnwood Fire Department responded to the scene.
