Summer community walks to begin this month, volunteers needed

Screenshot (417).pngThe Verdant Health Commission will host regular community walks in Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds throughout the summer starting this month — but first, the group needs volunteers who enjoy walking outside and meeting new people to lead the walks.

Verdant is offering info sessions where potential walk leaders can learn more about the opportunity and sign up for available dates to help lead community walks. The information sessions will be held on Wednesday, June 15 from 3-4 p.m. or on Thursday, June 16 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Both sessions take place at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. SW in Lynnwood.

Walks in Lynnwood will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting on June 22 and 23.

Please RSVP by contacting Sue Waldin at sue.waldin@verdanthealth.org or (425) 582-9412.
