A patrol officer thought something looked suspicious when he noticed a vehicle with a large commercial power tool in the back leaving a Lynnwood business. His instincts paid off.
The officer stopped the vehicle early Tuesday morning on Highway 99 and 192nd Street SW and make contact with the three people inside. Meantime, other officers discovered that the chain-link fence at the business had been cut and the power tool had been taken from inside the fenced yard.
“After further investigation, burglary tools and other suspicious items related to criminal activity were also located within the vehicle,” police spokesperson Shannon Sessions said.
The suspects — two men and a woman from Everett– were arrested for investigation of burglary and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
